Government

Columbia City Council: A 2 p.m. Tuesday work session at the former Eau Claire town hall, 3905 Ensor Ave. at Monticello Road. Council again will discuss water and sewer rates.

At 6 p.m. Tuesday, council moves its regular meeting to A.C. Moore Elementary School, 333 Etiwan Ave. Council is to vote on naming a new city manager and to extend the sales contract for Capital City Stadium to a shopping center developer.

Richland County Planning Commission: 1 p.m. Monday at the Richland County Administration Building, 2020 Hampton St., Columbia.

Columbia City Council: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eau Claire print building, 3907 Ensor Ave. and 6 p.m. Tuesday at A.C. Moore Elementary, 333 Etiwan Ave.

Forest Acres City Council: 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 5205 North Trenholm Road.

Richland County Council: Tuesday at 4 p.m. is the swearing-in of council members beginning new terms, followed at 5 p.m. by an economic development committee meeting and at 6 p.m. a meeting of the full council, county administration building, 2020 Hampton St., Columbia.
