Members of AgFirst Federal Credit Union have approved a merger with Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative open to staff, students and faculty of the University of South Carolina and several other groups and universities. Founded in 1967, the credit union has more than 15,000 members and assets of more than $88 million. The former AgFirst Federal Credit Union will be known as AgFederal Credit Union, a Division of Carolina Collegiate.
