6 arrested after Lexington County deputies discover meth lab

— Deputes in Lexington County have arrested 6 people after finding a meth lab Saturday near Batesburg-Leesville.

Heather Lynn Brazell, 22; Kevin Delano Duncan, 46; Retha Rena Koon, 44; Lacey Rae Langford, 27; Jared William McCullough, 34; and Jason Wayne McCullough,36, were each charged with manufacturing methamphetamine after deputies found an operational methamphetamine laboratory inside Jason McCullough’s Buggy Road home.

Deputies received a tip that there was a meth lab at the home on Saturday morning. When they got there, deputies discovered a strong chemical odor and removed all six people inside. A one-liter bottle being used to make the drug was found in one of the home’s bedroom. Deputies then arrested Brazell, Duncan, Koon, Langford Jared McCullough and Jason McCullough.

All six suspects are being held at the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department awaiting bond hearings.
