Government

Columbia City Council: Tuesday at 2 p.m., council work session to discuss water and sewer rates, among other issues. The meeting will be at the former Eau Claire town hall, 3905 Ensor Ave. At 6 p.m., council holds its regular meeting at the adjoining Eau Claire print building. The agenda includes an initial vote on utility rates and fire hydrant fees.

Richland County Council: Tuesday at 5 p.m., the economic development committee meets, followed at 6 p.m. by a meeting of the full council, both at the Richland County Administration Building, 2020 Hampton St., Columbia.
