Richland County, SC — I cannot believe that Lillian McBride was considered for any job in the county government. She has proven her incompetence with the November election debacle. To put her back in a position that is funded by taxpayers is a slap in the face and seems absurd. Are there any job qualifications for the newly created position? Was this part of her “agreement” to step down when she should have been fired?
To me, an average taxpayer, it does not seem that Ms. McBride is being judged or treated like an average employee would be treated, but instead is being given preferential treatment. The whole commission needs to go.
