Richland County, SC — I am extremely angry about the abuse of taxpayer funds by the Richland County election leaders. For leaders to conclude that it is a good idea to hire the person responsible for the greatest election boondoggle in my lifetime to another cushy, overpaid position created especially for her should be criminal.

I am part of the silent majority who prefers to leave governing to others while I try to make an honest living. Hiring Lillian McBride for another public job is ridiculous, and I will actively campaign and work to defeat any politician who has the poor judgment to support this new, unnecessary position.

I think that an independent investigation is in order. The election board should be disbanded immediately.
