Patricia Meinhold has been named vice president of institutional advancement for Coker College in Hartsville.

Joseph Gaskin has joined Construction Science and Engineering Inc. as a senior professional engineer.

Jill Jemison and Lori Kinley have been appointed to the South Carolina Museum Commission by Gov. Nikki Haley.

HEALTH CARE

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons elected Dr. Gary R. Culbertson, director of the Iris Surgery Center in Sumter, as chairman of the Ethics Committee.

LAW

Brad B. Esterling, Mark B. Goddard and J. Jakob Kennedy have been elected shareholders of Turner Padget in Columbia.

Matthew G. Gerrald has been named partner with Barnes, Alford, Stork & Johnson in Columbia.

Sarah Taylor Cassidy and Margaret Hazel have joined the West Columbia office of Moore, Taylor and Thomas.

NONPROFIT

Brian Barker, Robert Fletcher, Steve Hall and Doreen Sullivan have joined the South Carolina Economics Board of Directors. Don Tomlin has been named chairman-elect, and Secretary Richard Riley has become a member of the S.C. Economics Honorary Advisory Board.

Crystl Zimmer has joined Miller-Valentine Group’s Columbia office as a project assistant.

David Stuck has joined CBRE’s retail brokerage team in Columbia.
