Columbia, SC — Monday-morning coaches abound in great numbers but never seem to be available for game time on Saturday. Coaches step up to the job during the week before the game to look at each of the players and line up the starting team for.

I don’t know if Teresa Wilson is qualified to be Columbia’s new city manager, but then who else besides City Council has the benefit of reports on how she has been performing at “practice” over the past several years?

Didn’t a majority of Columbia voters elect the mayor and City Council to manage the resources and direct the activities of city personnel? Hold City Council and Mayor Steve Benjamin responsible for their choices and actions, for those are the individuals elected to represent the voters. If you don’t like the decisions the mayor and council make, then convince the voters you are a better choice and run for a City Council seat.
