Richland 2’s newest high school, Westwood, will be formally dedicated Friday.

The event will start at 10 a.m. at the school, 180 Turkey Farm Road, in the gym. Students and faculty members will serenade the crowd with a variety of songs, including the school’s new alma mater. There will be a time capsule presentation and video about the Westwood Way. An hour prior to the ceremony, guests are invited to a reception and guided tours of the school.

The community is invited to attend.
