RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Water customers in a Richland County neighborhood near Bush River Road and the Dutch Square Shopping Center have been advised to boil water following a 6-inch water main break Saturday.
Officials with Columbia’s waterworks department issued the advisory for customers on North Arrowood Road and the Dutch Brook subdivision.
Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to boil water for one minute before using it for drinking or cooking. Also, anyone experiencing a loss of water pressure or water at their home or business near this area should follow the one-minute boil rule.
Any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
For more information customers should call (803) 545-3300.
