Lexington County, SC — Those calling for Scott Compton’s job are forgetting what our First Amendment is all about. “Freedom Of speech” encompasses all forms of expression.

If someone sees you doing something, you are expressing a message. People don’t have to agree with that message, but anyone in service fought to protect the right to express it.

Reprimand Mr. Compton for the time and place (it would have been more appropriate at a political rally), but he should keep his job, without question.
