The City of Columbia Waterworks says the water customers on Plumbers Road in Richland County no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.
Following a flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by the city and it was determined the water is safe for drinking and cooking purposes.
