Columbia, SC — President Obama and many liberal Democrats have expressed outrage over the killing of innocent children and school personnel in the Newtown massacre, and are advocating stronger gun control as a misguided approach to make our schools safer. I find their outrage extremely hypocritical, as they remain silent as many innocent children are aborted.

The only difference between the children who were so brutally murdered at Newtown and those who are aborted while still in their mother’s womb is that at least the children at Newtown were able to be born, to see the light of day, to laugh, to love and bring joy to their families. There are so many little souls in heaven who have gone there before their time because we as a nation allow this murder to go on every day.

If our president and his liberal supporters are truly concerned about little children, they will try to stop the murder of these innocents. Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that little children are precious to him. How can we view little children (both the already born and the soon to be born) any differently?
