Eau Claire closed the book on the chase for Region 3-2A girls basketball state playoff berths on Tuesday with a 65-33 rout of North Central.
Keenan is set as the No. 1 seed with Fairfield Central at No. 2. The Shamrocks (7-15, 4-4) are currently tied for third place with Columbia. North Central and Pelion are out of the running with two games left to play.
Senior Shabreccia Jones and sophomore Deidra Davis-Johnson led Eau Claire in the clincher. Jones had 19 points, 12 assists, six rebounds and five assists. Davis-Johnson also had a double-double performance 14 points, 12 rebounds.
