Columbia, SC — Mary Frances Sinclair Harris was my mentor at the State Museum. Three months after the death of my husband, Ivan Miller, I decided to become a docent. Mary Frances, who passed away Jan. 19, took me under her wing and helped build my confidence to do tours at the museum; she was a patient lady.
This lovely lady had a wonderful personality and a dry wit. She was loved by all the docents. I always made it a point to sit at her table during our monthly meetings at the museum. She put a smile on everybody’s face. I will always think of you, Mary Frances, when I have my glass of cold Chardonnay. Cheers to you.
