Richland County, SC — Pretend that Lillian McBride, the former Richland County director of voter registration and elections, was the pilot of a plane upon which you were a passenger. She was warned by the co-pilot and engineer over and over again that she was using incorrect data and the plane was going to crash. She ignored them and, sure enough, the plane crashed, but she survived.
