HEALTH CARE

The Palmetto Health board of directors has elected its 2013 officers, which includes William L. Freeman III, chairman; James E. Wheeler, vice chairman; Jerome D. Odom, treasurer; and Traci Young Cooper, secretary.

LAW

Cynthia Durham Blair, a shareholder in Rogers Townsend’s Columbia office, has received a 2013 Leadership in Law Award from “S.C. Lawyers Weekly.”

Andrew Powell has joined Rogers, Townsend & Thomas as an associate in the firm’s Columbia Default Services Department.

Richardson, Plowden & Robinson attorneys Emily R. Gifford and Michelle Parsons Kelley have been selected to the 2013 Class of the S.C. Bar Leadership Academy.

NONPROFIT

Senior Resources has named new officers and members for 2013, including Patti Addison, board president; Robert Mason, Ed Bell and Iris Griffin, executive team members; and Sam P. Johnson, Kathy Moreland, Derrick Stark and Libby Tucker, board members for three-year terms.

Senior Resources also honored volunteers and donors, including The Harbison Housing Foundation as a community partner; Rogers, Townsend & Thomas for corporate support; Bob O’Kelly and Francis Eveleigh with the Leonard L. Price Fundraising Award; David Cote, Webster Award; and Wallace Brown, the Season of Service Award.
