Dee Dee Chewning has been elected as chair of the Sisters of Charity Foundation’s board of trustees. Chewning joined the foundation board in 2006 and has served as secretary and vice-chair. In addition, she served as the founding executive director of Healthy Learners, a ministry of the Sisters of Charity, from 1992 until her retirement in 2005. Chewning also serves as board vice-chair of the Brookland Cayce High School Education Foundation.
