KERSHAW COUNTY, SC — A 21-year-old Camden man was killed in a single-car collision in Kershaw County Friday night.
John William Napper, identified by Kershaw County Coroner Johnny Fellers, died after his vehicle went off the road and overturned.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. Friday as Napper and another occupant were travelling south on River Road near Lake Wateree, S.C. Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins said.
Both occupants were ejected. Investigators are trying to determine who was driving the vehicle, Collins said.
The condition of the occupant was not immediately known Saturday.
The highway patrol and the patrol’s MAIT team are investigating.
