— The SCISA Region IV-A All-Region teams were announced and Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach was well represented on both the girls and boys teams.

Kendall Henry was named the player of the year and was joined by Austin Guyton, Cole Gore and Bernard Jones on the All-Region team.

Mary Chandler Butler, Simi Oduwole and Caroline Gore represented the Saints on the girls squad.

High school boys basketball

•  (At) Marion 82, Andrews 71 | The Swamp Foxes got the win over the Yellowjackets to advance to the second round of the Class AA playoffs. Kevin Roweel scored 23 for Marion in the win, while Monte McCrea scored 25 for Andrews.

CCU Indoor Track and Field

Erica Peake grabbed another Big South Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week award for the Chants.

Peake set the Big South Conference 60-meter record by four seconds with a time of 7.39 at the Clemson Invitational. She also placed second in the 200-meter event with a time of 23.97.
