AOS Specialty Contractors' Carlos Lara fills a hole with dirt on the corner of Lincoln and Gervais Street. The state Department of Transportation is working to install several "bump outs" at corners along Gervais Street in Columbia's Vista. The bump outs will be noticeable grid patterns designed to slow traffic and make the Vista safer for pedestrians.
