LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC — A 27-year-old Lexington man was killed Thursday evening in a wreck on Bluefield Road.
Two passengers, 14 and 24 years old, were taken the Lexington Medical Center with what SC Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Judd Jones said were non-life-threatening injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.
Around 7 p.m., the as-yet-unidentified driver was heading south on Bluefield Road in a Chevrolet vehicle when it went off the right side of the road and struck a tree. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, Jones said.
The highway patrol is investigating the incident.
