— Kershaw County deputies are looking for a person of interest in an armed robbery at a department store outside Camden last week, according to a Crimestoppers press release.

Investigators want to talk to Gregory Andrew Carson about a robbery at the K-Mart on West Dekalb Street on Feb. 14.

In that incident, a suspect with a long, white-handled knife jumped out from under a stairwell and told two passing employees to let him in the “cash” room. Once there, one of the employees was able to make the suspect lose his balance and the man ran from the business. He was able to make away with a large amount of cash before leaving.

The store’s closed circuit television was disabled minutes before the robbery, according to the Crimestoppers release.
