— Police are looking for help identifying people cashing counterfeit checks at the Target department store in Lexington, according to a Crimestoppers press release.

On several instances in December and January, suspects cashed counterfeit Visa travelers checks at the 5119 Sunset Blvd. department store. The counterfeiters are also suspected of committing the same crime at a store in Greer.

Officers think that the suspects are travelling in a white Ford Crown Victoria formerly used by a law enforcement agency.

The suspects were captured on surveillance footage. If you recognize the people pictured or know anything about the counterfeiting, contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or www.sccrimestoppers.com.
