Band of Horses, a band fronted by Columbia native Ben Bridwell, will perform May 3 at Township Auditorium. The band, which includes Ryan Monroe, also a Columbia native, has opened arena dates for Pearl Jam and Kings of Leon. But the band, nominated for a Grammy Award in 2011, hasn’t played Columbia since Sept. 18, 2006.
Tickets, which go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, cost $30-$35 and can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com; the Township’s box office; or by calling (800) 745-3000. Tickets sold for the floor will not be seated and are for general admission. There will be reserved seats in the balcony.
The Township is at 1703 Taylor St.
