Shots fired after men kicked out of Richland club

Published: February 23, 2013

— Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a shots-fired incident early Saturday morning in the St. Andrews area northwest of Columbia.

Four men, who had been kicked out of Club XO, at 2700 Broad River Road, went across the street to the Rush’s restaurant parking lot and fired multiple rounds around 4 a.m., department spokesman Deputy Curtis Wilson said.

No one was injured, Wilson said.

While officers were on the scene, a fight broke out inside the club. Deputies arrested a woman involved in the fight, Wilson said.

Deputies continue to investigate.
