Kip Murphy has joined the Columbia team of Homeowners Mortgage Enterprises, a full-service regional mortgage banking firm.

ENGINEERING

American Engineering Consultants Inc. has won the Palmetto Award for the “City of Cayce 25.0 MGD Regional WWTP” for the City of Cayce in the Water and Storm Water category. In addition, the company won an Engineering in Excellence Award, the Small Firm award and was a 2013 American Council of Engineering Companies finalist.

Child Psychologist Dr. Erin Adams has joined the Greenwood Genetic Center.

LRADAC, a not-for-profit agency that offers a variety of alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment programs, has been honored as a key partner with Goodwill Industries.

John E. Cuttino, a shareholder in Turner, Padget, Graham & Laney, has been inducted into membership of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Julio E. Mendoza Jr., an attorney with Nexsen Pruet, has been appointed to the Medical University of South Carolina Board of Visitors.

David L. Stuckey Jr. has joined PHT Services as senior claims consultant; he will be responsible for the investigation and management of liability claims for Palmetto Healthcare Liability Insurance Program.

Michael Seguin has been named the salesperson of the cycle for the Pollock Company’s West Columbia branch.

WEB/TECH

Dan Vanacore has been hired as the director of the Southeast region for MIPRO, which specializes in implementing, upgrading and optimizing Oracle’s PeopleSoft applications.
