CHAPIN, SC — Students at Chapin Elementary School are being dismissed early Friday due to a power outage at the school.
Buses will be taking students home at 10:30 a.m., according to a notice on the Lexington-Richland School District 5 website. Parents who drive their children to school can begin picking up students at 10:30 a.m.
It could take as many as 3 hours for repair crews to bring power back up at the school.
