Ryan Labrooy has joined Scott and Company in Columbia as an associate accountant in the firm’s Tax and Advisory Services group.

Nexsen Pruet member Bob Coble has been re-elected chairman of the Columbia World Affairs Council.

LAW

The South Carolina Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates has elected new officers for 2013-2014 including: President Robert W. Foster, President-Elect T.S. Stern Jr., Secretary John T. Lay and national board representatives Luther J. Battiste III and Sam Mabry III. Patty Cavanaugh has been elected the chapter’s executive director, Jeter E. Rhodes Jr. has received the Trial Lawyer of the Year award, Susan P. McWilliams has received the S.C. Chapter President for 2011 award and Samuel W. Outten has received the 2012 President award.

REAL ESTATE

Crystal Baker of Colliers International has been awarded the 2012 Colliers International President’s Award for the company’s Columbia market. Wesley Slice of LCK has received Colliers’ 2012 Management Services Award. Tripp Bradley has received the company’s 2012 Transaction of the Year Award.
