For those that can't wait until April 15 for the RBC Heritage to start, Dick's Sporting Goods may provide a fix.
The Bluffton location of Dick's is hosting RBC Heritage Days on Friday and Saturday, and RBC Heritage ambassador Sir Willie Innes and John Farrell, the head golf professional at The Sea Pines Resort, will be present.
Sir Willie will greet customers from his tartan tent, hosting ticket giveaways and plaid contests throughout the weekend.
Farrell will share golf tips with anyone getting fitted for clubs.
Fans who stop by the tartan tent will be offered a chance to enter the RBC Heritage Day at Dick's contest. Fans that share a business card or fill out a card at will be entered into a drawing to win RBC Heritage tickets and Dick's Sporting Goods Dollars.
Fans can also enter to win tickets by taking a photo with Sir Willie at Dick's Sporting Goods and posting it on Facebook (facebook.com/RBCHeritage), Twitter (@RBC_Heritage) or Instagram (instagram.com/RBCHeritage) using "#RBCHeritage."
The RBC Heritage is the only PGA Tour event in South Carolina and has been played at the Harbour Town Golf Links since 1969.
The Heritage Classic Foundation, the general tournament sponsor, distributes the proceeds from the tournament to hundreds of nonprofit organizations. Since it was founded as a 501 (c)(3) in 1987, the Foundation has donated more than $23.5 million to people in need.
Tickets: Daily tickets and week-long badges for this year's tournament are now on sale online at www.rbcheritage.com or by calling the tournament office at 843-671-2448.
