Chef Tyler Florence is the host for a new cooking reality show, "Food Court Wars," which is seeking teams from South Carolina


Ever want to be on a reality TV show? Here's your chance. Several shows are holding auditions in the Midlands or taking applications.

The Food Network is looking for a team of people for “Food Court Wars,” a new series hosted by Tyler Florence. Each team would have to be willing to go head-to-head to win the privilege of opening a food court restaurant that’s “locally inspired and original” at a mall in South Carolina.

  The X-Factor Season 3 auditions are Tuesday, March 19, at North Charleston Coliseum, 5001 Coliseum Drive, North Charleston

How to apply: Wristbands will be distributed to auditioners from 8 a.m. Sunday, March 17, until 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19. Auditioners will not be permitted to camp out. Once auditioners obtain their wristbands, they will be asked to return to the North Charleston Coliseum by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19 for their audition.


Auditions for the CBS reality show “Big Brother”will be at JT's Kia, 230 Killian Commons Parkway, 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 24.

Bring a drivers license, two photos (one head shot and one body shot) and a completed application.
