Columbia, SC — Raise taxes for road repair? Apparently the Department of Transportation has so much money that it needs to find ways to spend it. It has installed 16 signs for the four-way stop at Kelly Mill and Rimer Pond roads.

There are eight stop signs and eight signs alerting you about the stop signs at an intersection that has been a four-way stop for years. This is happening at many intersections. It is wasting money and looks awful.
