Maryland Gov. Martin OMalley will keynote the second annual Issues Conference in Charleston later this month, sponsored by the South Carolina Democratic Party.
The Issues Conference is an annual forum with panel and breakout discussions on a variety of topics affecting the people, families and businesses of South Carolina, according to a news release.
OMalley is a rumored presidential candidate for 2016. He spoke to the South Carolina delegation at the Democratic National Convention in September. South Carolina will host the first-in-the-South presidential primary in 2016, making the state a popular stop for prospective candidates.
