NEWBERRY COUNTY, SC — The United States Forest Service cancelled a proscribed burn planned for Sunday in Newberry County.
The large controlled burn was to be conducted on about 400 acres of the Sumter National Forest near Jalapa and Indian Creek roads northeast of Newberry west of Interstate 26.
The burn has not been rescheduled.
