CYCLING

The 2013 Palmetto Trail Challenge: The 15-week walking/biking contest is underway. Teams must consist of two people of any age and gender. Mileage must be submitted each Monday by 10 a.m. for the previous week. Dates for submitting mileage are Monday March 18 and 25; April 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; May 6, 13, 20 and 27 and June 3, 10 and 17. Lexington Woman’s Club 29th annual charity golf tournament: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Bloody Mary party; 12:30 p.m. shotgun start; and 5 p.m. cocktail party and awards, March 25 at the Country Club of Lexington, 1066 Barr Road, Lexington.
