With only two starters returning, Irmo has a big rebuilding job on its hands in the 2013 baseball season.

Senior first baseman Andrew Goedken and junior shortstop-pitcher are the only veterans returning for last season 8-15 club that made a surprising run to the championship round of the District 7 playoff tournament.

Senior pitcher Alex Quillen, junior outfielder Jackson Hoskins, junior third baseman Conner Kern, junior designated hitter William Salley and sophomore catcher Lucas White are key newcomers on the scene.

Irmo is off to a 1-4 start, lost recently dropping a 14-4 decision to cross-town rival Dutch Fork on March 6.
