Irmo police arrested an 18-year-old Irmo man and a 15-year-old boy after responding to a burglary call in the Cornerstone of Irmo neighorhood Monday afternoon.

Juhoun Benson and the juvenile were charged with burglary, Irmo Police Chief Brian Buck said.

The two were stopped near the site of the burglary by Irmo investigators. They allegedly had in their possession an Xbox with the same serial number as a packing box at the burgled home.

Police originally responded to the call at 4:30 p.m. Monday after the homeowners discovered a back window broken and the sliding glass back door open to their home.

Benson was being held at the Alvin S. GLenn Detention Center Tuesday afternoon.
