LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC — A Department of Corrections officer has been charged with criminal domestic violence.
Sheriffs deputies say 38-year-old James David Morgan is being held in the Lexington County jail.
A police report says Morgan tried to question a woman in his home about where she had been when he became angry and threw her down and held her.
The report says Morgan went outside and the woman called deputies.
Morgan works at the Broad River Correctional Institution.
