Sheldon Paschal has been hired as the new executive director of 701 Center for Contemporary Art. Paschal, the center’s first and only paid staff member, is a Columbia native with a background in performing arts. She has worked as a member relations executive at the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. 701 Center for Contemporary Art is a nonprofit visual arts center that encourages interaction between visual and other art forms.
