Columbia, SC — During a two-week trip to Key West and back, my husband and I ran into a couple from Ohio, and the man said South Carolina was a laughingstock in the national press; it really upset me, but it is true.

We saw that I-95 is in great shape in Georgia and Florida, but when you hit the S.C. state line, there are potholes everywhere; it’s shameful.

Meantime, our state is turning down Obamacare. With all these hospitals and doctors asking for the state to accept the money, I find this just conservative political posturing, not what is good for our state.
