PricewaterhouseCoopers takes over old Richland Mall Verizon call center

April 8, 2013

— The former Verizon call center at Richland Mall is now fully occupied as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) expands, commercial real estate firm CBRE/Columbia said. The call center moved out of the office space portion of the mall at 3400 Forest Drive in November 2010 to a new complex in Elgin. Nearly a year later, the national accounting and consulting company PWC announced a move into 74,000 square feet of the vacated 162,800-square-foot space. The company recently signed a lease for another 61,433 square feet. A PWC spokesman declined to provide any further details on how the firm will use the space or whether it will hire more workers. A law firm occupies the remaining 27,000 square feet.
