Columbia to hold neighborhood leadership summit

— The City of Columbia’s Community Development Department will hold its second annual Neighborhood Leadership Summit from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, at Dreher High School, 3319 Millwood Ave.

Topics will include career exploration, partnerships, engaging social media and networking, career building, fair housing and “The Next Generations: Youth for Positive Change.”

Participants ages 16 and older are encouraged to attend.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. In addition, awards and door prizes will be given. Neighborhoods with the most participants will receive a $250 grant.

This event is free but advanced registration is strongly encouraged.
