On Feb. 15, I sent a letter to my U.S. senators and representative, complaining about the recorded sales messages I keep getting. They are not only illegal but harassing. I got a response from Sen. Lindsey Graham, which puts him up a step on my respect ladder, even if it did not solve my problem.
These scofflaws seem to be getting the best of Congress, and the Do Not Call registry does nothing, as far as I can tell. We got 10 anonymous robocalls during the week of March 24, each more onerous than the one before it. Isn’t that disgusting?
As for members of Congress, they have their own cross to bear. They can’t even get along. Their main purpose seems to be to make the opposition look bad. Might I suggest that when their terms expire, we put the whole shebang out of office? Our country is stronger than its politicians; let’s begin anew.
