Congaree Park seeks teachers for summer program

April 10, 2013

Congaree National Park is accepting applications for its Teacher-Ranger-Teacher program for this summer.

Two teachers will be selected to work with park rangers for 8-10 weeks and develop lesson plans focused on the park. The National Park Service summer program includes a $3,000 stipend.

The program focuses on teachers from ethnically diverse schools, where students have little or no experience with national parks or limited opportunity to explore them.
