RBC Heritage Notebook, April 11: Stallings to speak at Christian Heritage Breakfast

Two time-PGA Tour winner and RBC Heritage competitor Scott Stallings will be the guest speaker for the 17th annual Christian Heritage Breakfast at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Sonesta Resort in Shipyard Plantation.

The event, hosted by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Low Country Men of the Church is held annually during Heritage week and proceeds benefit the local South Coastal FCA's coaches, campuses, camps and community ministries.

Tickets are $25 each or $225 for a table of 10. Reservations must be made in advance as no tickets will be sold at the door.

Previous speakers include PGA Tour golfers Steve Jones, Loren Roberts, Doug Barron, Stewart Cink, Larry Mize, Bernhard Langer, David Gossett, Jonathan Byrd, Aaron Baddeley, Fred Funk, Tom Pernice Jr., Lee Janzen and Mark Wilson.

RBC HERITAGE OFFERS FANS VIP EXPERIENCE

The Heritage Classic Foundation is offering fans a chance to win an exclusive experience at the RBC Heritage via a Facebook contest.

To enter, fans must "Like" the RBC Heritage Facebook page and submit how the RBC Heritage has positively impacted a local charity. The fan with the most votes wins.

The winner will receive four clubhouse badges (a $760 value), two for them and two for the charity of their choice.

Clubhouse badges provide access to the tournament grounds for all seven days of the event. They include admission to the Clubhouse, featuring private restrooms and the Heritage Pavilion and access to two on-course hospitality venues.

The VIP Experience also includes lunch at the Friends of the Heritage Tent with Sir William Innes on Thursday along with a behind the scenes tour of the Arnie Burdick Media Center, RBC Heritage merchandise, a photo with Sir William Innes that will be posted on the new RBC Heritage Lawn video board and a special experience yet to be revealed.

The contest runs through 5 p.m. Thursday. The winner will be announced on the RBC Heritage Facebook page on Friday.

HOWELL TO MAKE APPEARANCE

Two-time PGA Tour winner and President's Cup competitor Charles Howell III wil be signing autographs at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Robert Trent Jones Course pro shop at Palmetto Dunes. The appearance is among several Heritage week events at the oceanfront resort.
