Prep Talk | Baseball and softball region standings, playoff scenarios

April 14, 2013

With only one week remaining in the regular season for most area baseball and softball teams, the playoff picture is starting to become more clear.

Saturday, a handful of teams locked up berths in the postseason, and at least one – the St. James baseball team – wrapped up a home playoff game. The Sharks can finish no worse than second place in Region VII-AAA.

Below are where regions involving area teams stand heading into Monday’s games, with playoff scenarios and breakdowns under each region.
