Pet of the Week, April 17: Boo No. 2

April 17, 2013

16 month old female, Boo. Available for adoption at the Columbia Animal Shelter off Shop Road

Meet Boo No. 2! Last week we told you about Boo the dog, who was recently adopted, and this week we have another Boo for you.

She is 16 months old and would be a great companion. Boo is playful, curious and full of life, she loves the company of people and receiving lots of attention. Boo can be particular about her friends and may be better suited as an only pet. Although her eye may appear cloudy, Boo is in great health and would be so grateful to find a home with somebody special to love.

You can visit Boo and her friends at the Columbia Animal Shelter, located at 127 Humane Lane, off Shop Road. For more information, please call 803-776-7387.

Please remember that all of our pets need loving homes. To view other animals available for adoption, visit

“Pet of the Week” is a (nearly) weekly public service published by The State in partnership with the Columbia Animal Shelter. The pets are chosen by the shelter staff, who also write the descriptions. Call the shelter at the number provided in the description or check to find out if a featured pet is still available for adoption.
