USC to honor Columbia’s city manager

April 26, 2013

Columbia city manager Teresa Wilson is among those who will be saluted at a ceremony Saturday as outstanding alumni of the University of South Carolina.

Wilson, city manager since January, will be honored for community leadership.

Before working for the city, Wilson served as government and community relations coordinator for the University of South Carolina’s Office of the President, lobbying the state legislature on the university’s behalf and serving as a liaison for USC to community groups.
