Pet of the Week, May 1: Jester

City of ColumbiaMay 1, 2013

— Meet Jester! This good looking guy is about 3 years old. Jester was brought into the animal shelter as a stray and he is in great health. Jester loves the company of people and likes receiving lots of attention. He is ready for a new home and would be a great companion. He has been neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and tested negative for feline leukemia/aids.

Come visit Jester, along with his friends at the Columbia Animal Shelter, located at 127 Humane Lane, off Shop Road. For more information, please call (803) 776-7387.

“Pet of the Week” is a (nearly) weekly public service published by The State in partnership with the Columbia Animal Shelter. The pets are chosen by the shelter staff, who also write the descriptions. Call the shelter at the number provided in the description or check to find out if a featured pet is still available for adoption.
