BANKING & FINANCE

First Community Bank of Lexington has promoted Robin Brown, Ted Nissen, David Proctor and Joe Sawyer to executive vice president. All are members of the executive management team.

Bryant N. Blakeslee of Columbia has become a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, the Premier Association of Financial Professionals.

James L. Best of Columbia has been named a member of Wells Fargo Advisors’ Premier Advisors Program for the second consecutive year.

GOVERNMENT

Former Richland County state Rep . Joan Brady has been awarded the Order of the Palmetto.

Department of Social Services director Lillian Koller and Department of Social Services deputy director Isabel Blanco have received the Casey Excellence in Leadership Award.

HEALTH CARE

Jan Burt has been named the new vice chairwoman of the Lexington Medical Center Board of Directors.

HOSPITALITY

Spring Valley Rotary Club in Northeast Richland has been recognized for the first time as the Outstanding Large Club of the Year. It also received the Outstanding Membership Development award, and club secretary Ramesh Yajnik has received the Outstanding Secretary of the Year award.

REAL ESTATE

Colliers International’s Jason Holliday has been appointed to the Columbia Tree and Appearance Commission by the Columbia City Council.

Rox Pollard, Tommy Johnson, Marsha Davis, Peter Fennelly and Pendleton Grove have been named top producers at Colliers International in Columbia for the first quarter of 2013.
